Isn’t it funny that we need conformation for what God has already told us, as if what God has already said needs a second opinion. How dare you? Look deep into your soul and remember what he has already done. Point one if you are reading this, you are alive. Glorify God just for that. You take time to search through your world, yes I said your world and just recap on what has already been done. I was listening to Tye Tribett when he made it plain. He gave the metaphor of being out of order. You know how you can be in front of a vending machine and see an out of order sign, well would you put money in the machine if it has that sign on it, NO! Well why do you expect God to put the resources in you if you are out of order. When I heard this I immediately wanted to shout! Each day we go through life thinking that our problems are so big that we can’t see in front of ourselves. Why? Do you know who God is, now think about the size of your problem and the size of your God.
SAY YOUR PRAYERS
You spend your night, ironing, cooking, cleaning, helping with homework, tucking the kids in and getting lunches ready for the next day. You finally get to rest and you take your shower and get in the bed. All the lights are off and you’re feeling great. Your brain turns on and you nearly leap out of bed. Hey you, forget something? Um yeah, your prayers! If you don’t get up and go say your prayers. How dare you? Yeah we have a lot going on as a single mom. Think of it this way none of it would be possible without God. So kneel down and give him some time. We serve a jealous God, always remember nothing and I mean nothing comes before him.
List 5 things
Ever wonder why you are where you are and not where you want to be. A little voice inside is asking, hey what happened to that degree we wanted or that life we wanted. Why haven’t you done anything about it. Stop what you are doing and make a list of 5 things you want to do in life. Things that will make you happy. Then work on them. I want to encourage someone to make a stand and do what makes you happy
Finding a Job
Why is finding a job so hard? I mean you apply and apply and nothing. You spend 45 minutes to an hour on one application. Now you may ask how, but if you ever applied for a job, you will find at the end of the process; some have assessments. Then you get a reply notice stating they are reviewing your application. So you believe you have hope. Great for you, but you’re wrong! Just wait, in about 24 hours you will receive one more email stating there was someone more qualified than you and that the employer urges you to keep applying. Ever wonder, “Why won’t people hire me?”. Well that is a great question. Even if you have a degree, graduated at the top of your class and have experience, that doesn’t give you a foot in the door. The noticeable thing on the application is that different companies say they are part of Equal Employment Opportunity, but if you notice somewhere in the application process they ask your race, why is that? Why does it matter, if you are part of Equal Employment Opportunity? My advice is to apply for what you actually want to do and try not to allow people to dictate what you are qualified for.
